ESO Guide: Murkmire Daily Quests

Venture into the deep swamp and experience Argonian culture like never before in Murkmire.  Cyrodiilic Collections  require  your  special  skills  to recapture the lost history of the Argonians.

To access Murkmire, accept the “Sunken Treasure” quest from your stories tab in the collection window or port to a friend or guildie currently in Murkmire.

Note: For the full Murkmire experience, you may want to pick up the prologue quest, Ruthless Competition , from the Cyrodillic Representative (Concordia Mercius) near the wayshine of your starter town (Davon's Watch, Vulhkel Guard, or Daggerfall). Upon completion of the quests, you’ll will unlock dailies to obtain a swamp jelly pet.

Daily Quests

Tip: If you are new to Elder Scrolls Online. have a slow horse, and not a member of any guilds, then check out "Getting Around Without Wayshrines" to quickly unlock regions that you have not been to before.

Lilmoth

In Lilmoth, the daily delve and world boss quest givers are unlocked by reading the poster on the docks titled ‘Death-Hunts’ .

The map below shows the locations of the NPC’s with the daily quests offered in Lilmoth.

Delves

Located in Lilmoth on the docks near the Fighters’ and Mages’ guilds,  Varo Hosidias will offer you quests in one of the delves of Murkmire.

Tip: the delve quests can be solo'ed.

1. The Weight of Words: Varo Hosidias has requested that stone tablets be retrieved from a temple known as the Teeth of Sithis.
   Tip: The destroyer tablet is hidden in a bookshelf that is guarded by a NPC in the northeast corner of the room.
2. Old Scrolls: I should go to Tsofeer Cavern and locate the items that Varo wants for Tia Doran. (Note: one of the scrolls, is up on a ledge in the south part of the circle).
3. Antique Armor: I should go to Tsofeer Cavern and gather pieces of Imperial armour from the First Era. (Tip: the armour also drop from the Voriplasm)
4. Sacred Candles: I should go to Tsofeer Cavern and locate the items that Varo wants for Tia Doran.
5. Tools of Slaughter: I should go to the Teeth of Sithis and recover some of the ritual objects being kept there.*
6. Grave Subject Matter: Cyrodilic Collections needs someone to collect old remains from Teeth of Sithis for Study. (Skeleton corpses)

Tip: The quests can be completed faster in a group by splitting up and collecting needed items from different parts in the same delve at the same time.

Tip: The quests are offered to a character in the order listed above.

Note: After several runs, I have noticed some variation in the locations within the delves. However, the items are in the same room and so far, I have found the same number of items too.

World Bosses

Located in Lilmoth on the docks near the Fighters’ and Mages’ guilds,  Bolu will offer you quests to battle the World Bosses of Murkmire.

Tip: A group of 4 players, is recommended for the World Boss quests.

Tip: The quests can be completed faster in a group by splitting up and collecting needed items from different nearby locations at the same time.

1. Old Growth: Go to the Echoing Hollow to gather nightbloom vines for Bolu. While I’m there, I should also kill the Hollow’s guardian, Walks-Like-Thunder.
2. Old Baubles: Go to the Echoing Hollow to gather Argonian antiquities for Bolu. While I’m there, I should also kill the Hollow’s guardian, Walks-Like-Thunder.
3. Old Enemies: Go to Echoing Hollow and enter the ruins so you can find and burn the Blackguards’ supply caches.
   While I’m there, I should also kill the Hollow’s guardian, Walks-Like-Thunder. (Note: in a group, you can burn same caches to complete quest faster).
4. Grave Circumstances: Go to Bok-Xul, retrieve the stolen grave-stakes, and kill necromancer, Baxilt-Gah
5. Grave Expectations: Go to Bok-Xul, burn the corrupted heart-roots of the carnivorous plants, and kill necromancer, Baxilt-Gah (Roots outside Bok-Xul)
6. Grave Momentos: Go to Bok-Xul to kill the necromancer and to recover the bones of the Dead-Water warriors killed in battle against Baxilt-Gah. (Bodies inside Bok-Xul).

Tip: Grave Circumstance – burn the roots in a counter-clockwise direction starting at the north location.

Tip: The quests are offered to a character in the order listed above.

Root-Whisper Village

The dailies offered in Root-Whisper Village must be unlocked by completing the main Murkmire quests up to and including By River and Root.

• Sunken Treasure: Join the Cyrodilic Collections’ expedition to an ancient xanmeer in Murkmire.
• Missing in Murkmire: Help Famia Mercius find missing expedition members.
• Whispers in the Wood: Work with the local tribes to find out more about a mysterious Argonian relic.
• Death and Dreaming: Join a dream-wallow ritual and learn the truth about the Remnant of Argon.
• The Swamp and the Serpent: Pursue a traitor through Deepmire.
• The Remnant of Argon: Pass through an Ayleid realm of portals to locate the lost Remnant.
• By River and Root: Guide the trapped spirits of the Root-Whisper tribe back to the cycle of rebirth.

Gather / Search

Located in Root-Whisper Village in the Northeast portion of Murkmire, Tuwul will offer these quests.

Tip: Tuluw’s quests can be solo’ed.

1. Offerings That Hide: Retrieve some stolen offerings.
2. Envoys Who Cower: Search for missing Root-Whisper envoys.
3. Mushrooms that Nourish: Collect some mushrooms from Blight Bog Sump (near Blackrose Prison Wayshrine).
4. Aloe that Heals: Tuwul asks you to collect some aloe plants .
5. Leather That Protects: Gather some hackwing hides.

Tip: Regular mobs respawn after ~4 minutes (Hackwings)

Tip: When doing the offerings that hide, quickly get to the first offering by using the rooftops of the blackguard settlement.

Tip: Combine the Leather That Protects quest with one of the daily quests in Tsofeer Cavern as there are several hackwings just inside the entrance.
