If you are excited about housing as much as I am, I suggest checking out the article “Homestead: Furnishing Day 1” on Tamrielfoundry.com. It talks about the logisitics of obtaining furniture crafting plans (1100) and harvesting the furniture materials. I have to agree, we are in for a grind.
The article quotes a source at Zenimax that recipe sourcing is influenced by the region they are found. There was a similar approach when provisioning recipes were introduced. I recall watching Icy’s YouTube video on housing and how she was disappointed that she didn’t find any Redguard themed recipes in the Redguard zone she was farming the recipes in.
The element of housing that was missed in the article was the ability to get recipes and items from Fishing. Overall, it’s a great read.
