ESO Guide: Blackwood Daily Quests

The Daedric Prince of Destruction, Mehrunes Dagon, has dire plans for the people of Tamriel, and they begin in the lush marshlands of Blackwood.

Access

To access Blackwood, use a wayshrine to travel to Leyawiin, or acquire the main quest “A Deadly Secret” from your Collections UI (Stories / Chapter / Blackwood).

You will require the Blackwood Chapter to access these quests.

Tip:
If you are new to Elder Scrolls Online. have a slow horse, and not a member of any guilds, then check out “Getting Around Without Wayshrines” to quickly unlock regions that you have not been to before.

Daily Quests

Leyawiin

In Leyawiin, the daily delve and world boss quest givers do not need to be unlocked. Your character just needs to be adventure level 6 or higher.

The map below shows the locations of the NPC’s with the daily quests offered in Leyawiin.

DELVES

Located in Leyawiin a short walk north of the wayshrine, Deetum-Jas awaits to give you a daily delve quest on the south side of the Chapel of Zenithar. The delves are listed in the order offered by the NPC.

Tip:
The delve quests can be solo’ed.

1. Shadow Tactics: Enter an ancient Dark Brotherhood burial site and destroy documents for the Morag Tong. (Bloodrun Cave)

Notes:
This quest is great for a stealth character. Head to the three locations and ‘use’ your journal. There are several mobs to escape and evade along the way.

2. Beauty Amid Danger: Scout out the interior of a Daedric ruin in search of poetic inspiration. (Doomvault Porcixid)

Notes:
This quest is great for a stealth character. Head to the three locations and ‘use’ your journal.

3. Conflict of Interest: Determine the fate of Daedric crow eggs. (Arpenia)

Notes:
It does not seem to matter which person you return the eggs to.

4. Breaking the Chain: Disrupt Sul-Xan sacrifices at Xi-Tsei. (Xi-Tsei)

Notes:
Beware of the traps inside the Xanmeer. The floor traps are a slightly different colour and have an Saxheel image on them.
You can avoid the boss at the end by going around the end of the platform and claiming the egg.

5. Insect Savior: Save a rare species of torchbug from potential extinction. (Undertow Cavern)

Notes:
Escape and evade to collect three torchbugs. Combat is likely on the two northmost bugs. (see map below)

6. A Proper Blessing: Gather ingredients for an Argonian ritual. (Vulnak)

Notes:
You can complete this one faster by killing the bog dogs and other mobs along the way. They often drop what you need.

WORLD BOSSES

Located in Leyawiin a short walk north of the wayshrine, Britta Silanus awaits to give you a daily world boss quest on the south side of the Zenithar’s Chapel.

Tip: A group of 4 players, is recommended for the World Boss quests.

1. Goblin Research: Defeat War Chief Zathmoz at the Toad-Tongue encampment and retrieve the researcher’s lost notes. (Toad-Tongue War Camp)
2. Rites of the Sul-Xan: Defeat the Sul-Xan ritualists and rescue the captives. (Sul-Xan Ritual Site)
3. A Reign of Frogs: Defeat Old Deathwart and gather singing frogs. (Old Deathwart’s Pond)
4. The Trophy-Taker: Defeat Xeemhok the Trophy-Taker and retrieve tokens from his fallen challengers. (Xeemhok’s Lagoon)
5. Call of the Ruinach: Defeat Ghemvas the Harbinger and anoint the bodies of its victims with sanctifying oil. (The Shattered Xanmeer)
6. Legend of the Man-Bull: Defeat the twin Minotaurs Bhrum and Koska, and retrieve the heirlooms unearthed by the unlucky scholars. (Shardius’s Excavation)
