The following is a summary of the crafting and housing related changes included in this #ESOTU patch for the PC and Mac.

NOTE: Currently, on the Public Test Server (PTS). Information here is from the patch notes published on their forums.

OVERVIEW

The Elder Scrolls Online v3.2.3 continues to address issues in the Clockwork City DLC game pack, and includes further improvements to the Transmutation system. We’ve also made a number of additional combat balance changes affecting abilities and item sets, which you can read more about below. All PC/Mac European megaserver characters have been copied in this patch, which is approximate 408MB in size.

Highlights

  • Added musical stingers to appropriate scenes and quests throughout the Clockwork City.
  • The Automaton Gem, a named ring found in Darkshade Caverns, now appears in the Strength of the Automaton set instead of the Netch’s Touch set.
    • Previously-dropped Automaton Gems will not be changed, and will continue to be part of the Netch’s Touch item set.
  • Transmutation
    • Continued to iterate on Transmute Crystal drop rates in this patch.
      • The Weekly Veteran and Normal-mode Trial Quests now give 5 Transmute Crystals upon completion, up from 4 Crystals.
      • Transmutation Geodes awarded from Dungeon and Trial Leaderboard placement now award 5 Transmute Crystals, up from 4 Crystals.
      • The Transmutation Geodes awarded from placing on the Leaderboards in 7-day Cyrodiil Campaigns will now award 10 Transmute Crystals, up from 4 Crystals.
      • The Transmutation Geodes awarded from placing on the Leaderboards in 30-day Cyrodiil Campaigns will now award 50 Transmute Crystals, up from 40 Crystals.
      • The Uncracked Transmutation Geodes awarded from Rewards for the Worthy mails will now give a minimum of 4 Transmute Crystals, up from 3, and can rarely grant as many as 25.
    • Standardized the different Geode names – there are now Transmutation Geodes which always give a set amount of Crystals, and Uncracked Transmutation Geodes which give a random amount of Crystals. The higher a Geode’s quality, the more Crystals it will provide.
    • Transmutation Geodes can no longer be opened if you are already have the maximum number of Transmute Crystals.
  • The “Khajiit Skooma Bubbler” furnishing can now be lit, generating a soft purple plume of smoke
  • Stealing from wardrobes, dressers, and the pockets of Clothiers now has a small chance to award you with a furnishing version of stacked cloth or folded leather.

[PTS] ESOTU [PC] Patch Notes 3.2.2 – Crafting Summary

NOTE: Currently, on the Public Test Server (PTS). Information here is from the patch notes published on their forums.

OVERVIEW

The Elder Scrolls Online v3.2.2 includes a number of combat and itemization balance changes, in addition to many fixes for content found in the Clockwork City. We’ve also increased the drop rates for Transmute Crystals from certain activities, which are detailed below; we’ll continue to adjust and tweak the sourcing and drop rates of Transmute Crystals in future PTS patches.

During this week, we’re testing a new rewards feature from the Grouping Tool that we’d like you to try out. Additionally, we’ve made further improvements to the character template. The size of this patch is approximately 454MB.

Highlights

  • Master difficulty chests and treasure map chests now have a greater chance of giving Buoyant Armiger motifs if you have the Treasure Hunter passive.
  • Remains-Silent will no longer silently provide you with only a furnishing when she elects to give you one. You will now receive the furnishing alongside your normal materials for that choice.
  • Annulment: Casting this ability and its morphs now requires that you wear 5 pieces of Light Armor.
  • Evasion: Casting this ability and its morphs now requires that you wear 5 pieces of Medium Armor.
  • Immovable: Casting this ability and its morphs now requires that you wear 5 pieces of Heavy Armor. We also increased the duration of this ability to 20 seconds from 13.5 at Rank IV.
  • Crafting Writs now direct you to deliver your goods to the nearest Writ Quartermaster instead of a specific turn-in site.
  • Now that Crafting Writs can be turned in at any turn-in site, you are no longer required to have access to the Hollow City before you’re given the tier of Crafting Writ that was previously turned in.
  • Provisioning Writs now indicate that the required recipes are available for purchase from Chefs and Brewers.
  • Increased the rewards for opening a Master Chest when you have the Treasure Hunter passive.
  • Every weekend, Adhazabi Aba-daro the Golden will now sell four sets of jewelry instead of two.
    • In a given week, she will sell either all rings or all necklaces.
    • Jewelry from Overland item sets costs 150,000g or 300,000 AP.
    • Jewelry from Dungeons costs 250,000g or 500,000 AP (the cost of all Jewelry on the vendor at present).
    • The Loot History will now display items gained from trading

[PTS] ESOTU [PC] Patch Notes 3.2.1 – Crafting Summary

The following is a summary of the crafting and housing related changes included in this #ESOTU patch for the PC and Mac.

NOTE: Currently, on the Public Test Server (PTS). Information here is from the patch notes published on their forums.

OVERVIEW

The Elder Scrolls Online v3.2.1 is the first incremental patch on the PTS for Clockwork City, and fixes a number of issues with this new zone’s quests, audio, housing and furnishings, and the new Trial Asylum Sanctorium. We’ve also begun making adjustments to the sourcing of Transmute Crystals, and have made additional improvements to the supplied character template.

We fixed a handful of bugs involving player abilities and item sets; balance changes aren’t in this patch as we’re still in the process of collecting and considering feedback. Please make sure you log into the PTS and try any gameplay-related changes before submitting feedback! This is essential for proper testing so you can test the changes in the appropriate context amongst all other changes.

The size of this latest patch is 319MB. Thanks to everyone for all the feedback and bug reports so far. We sincerely appreciate you putting in the time and effort!

Highlights

  • Transmutation
    • Increased the drop rates of Unidentified Transmutation Geodes.
      • Unidentified Transmutation Geodes will now occasionally drop from the final bosses of all Normal and Veteran Dungeons, rather than the Transmute Crystals dropping directly.
      • Veteran mode bosses are significantly more likely to drop a Geode than in Normal mode dungeons.
    • You will now receive a Transmute Crystal for completing Dragonstar Arena on Veteran mode, just as you would for completing Maelstrom Arena.
    • Transmute Crystals will now also be granted from the weekly Trial quests, your first-in-a-day Random Dungeon, or subsequent random Dungeons, regardless of whether you do those activities on Veteran mode or Normal mode. Previously, they were available only from Veteran mode.
    • Increased the cost of Transmutation from 40 to 50 Crystals.
    • Fixed an issue where some AvA Leaderboard mails were granting multiple Transmutation Geodes.
    • Fixed an issue where Cyrodiil Leaderboards were not granting the proper amount of Transmute Crystals.
      • 30-Day campaign Leaderboards now grant 40 Transmute Crystals each, and 7-Day campaign Leaderboards now grant 4 Transmute Crystals each.
    • Transmutation Geodes will no longer stack, which was causing an issue where using multiple Transmutation Geodes in quick succession would cause you not to get any Transmute Crystals.
    • Fixed an issue where Transmute Crystals would not appear properly in the Loot window when added to your account.
      • Note: This was a display-only issue; the Crystals were still properly added to your account.
    • Added a tooltip to the Transmute Crystal currency icon shown on the Transmute Station.
  • The ESO Plus Benefits page on the Crown Store now includes that the Transmute Crystal cap is doubled for ESO Plus members.
