ESOTU [PC] Patch Notes 3.3.5 – Crafting Summary

The following is a summary of the crafting and housing related changes included in this #ESOTU patch for the PC and Mac.  No crafting changes.

OVERVIEW

Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online v3.3.5 and the Dragon Bones DLC Game Pack! As with previous updates, the base game patch will be available to everyone who owns The Elder Scrolls Online and the DLC Game Pack will automatically download with it, allowing you instant access to the new content when you purchase it or activate an ESO Plus membership. Anyone who owns ESO and has an active ESO Plus membership will also automatically have access to the Dragon Bones DLC Game Pack. If your ESO Plus membership ends or lapses, you will no longer have access to the DLC Game Pack content and areas, but you will still have any items you earned while you had access.

In this update, you’ll be able to explore and conquer two all-new 4 player dungeons – Fang Lair and Scalecaller Peak. These dungeons offer new item sets, Monster Masks, achievements and unique rewards! We’ve also added two new Battlegrounds maps – Mor Khazgur and Deeping Drome – which are available to anyone who owns The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind.

In the base game patch, we’ve added several new features including the highly-anticipated Outfit System, which gives you the freedom to customize the visual appearance of your gear, and Home Storage Furnishings! We’ve also added two new systems to aid players as they adventure throughout Tamriel: a Level Up Advisor and Skills Advisor. And as always, we’ve made several adjustments and improvements to combat abilities, including an overhaul to our Synergy system, and several bug fixes.

We hope you enjoy this new update, which is approximately 2.38GB in size.

  • The new Outfit System is now available, and allows you the freedom to customize the visual appearance of your character including both the style and dyes. With Outfits, you get to determine the appearance of every aspect of your character, piece by piece, regardless of what you are (or aren’t) wearing underneath.
    • Customize by slot, motif, and material level (eg. jute to ancestor silk variants)
  • Housing Storage Chests
    • These account-wide items allow you to store 30 or 60 items per collectible, depending on the size. You can acquire four 30-slot coffers and four 60-slot chests, for a combined total of up to 360 storage slots.
  • Master Writ Vendors
    • Rolis Hlaalu, the Mastercraft Mediator who sells furnishings and recipes for Writ Vouchers, has changed some of his offerings. He retired several of his furniture plans and now offers 6 new furniture plans.
    • a new assistant: Faustina Curio, the Achievement Mediator. This new merchant sells plans and furnishings for Writ Vouchers to characters that have attained certain achievements. Among these items are plans that Rolis previously stopped selling, as well as new furnishing documents that contain Morrowind furnishing plans.
    • The Glass Motif can now be purchased from Rolis Hlaalu
  • Several motifs now more rarer.
    • Aldmeri Dominion, Ancient Elf, Assassins League, Barbaric, , Celestial, Daedric, Daggerfall Covenant, Dro-m’Athra,  Ebonheart Pact,  Mercenary, Minotaur, Outlaw, Primal, Ra Gada
  • Level Up Advisor
  • Skills Advisor
  • The Champion Point cap has been raised by 30 points (10 in each red/blue/green constellation) for a total of 720 Champion Points.
  • No longer supporting the 32-bit client
  • The chance of obtaining a Xivkyn Motif chapter from a Daedric Cache in Imperial City is now dependent on your Tel Var Stone multiplier: the more Stones you carry, the more likely you are to obtain a Xivkyn Motif chapter.
  • Fixed an issue resulting in some long-duration poisons having no difference between their two-reagent and three-reagent durations. Three-reagent durations are now consistently longer.
  • Adjusted the duration for all Immovable potions. The base duration has been reduced from a cap of 12.5 seconds to 8 seconds, leading to a Medicinal Use maximum of 10.4 seconds
  • Rewards for the Worthy mails now only grant a guaranteed Transmutation Geode once per day per account.
  • The Creation tab at Crafting Stations will now remember the level you have selected, rather than the number of materials. This is to prevent accidentally crafting the wrong level gear when switching between slots that require different material amounts, such as Helmet and Pants.

ESOTU [PTS] [PC] Patch Notes 3.3.0 – Crafting Summary

The following is a summary of the crafting and housing related changes included in this #ESOTU patch for the PC and Mac.  There are significant quality of life improvements including Outfitting system (appearance slots), Housing Storage, and Leveling Advisor.  Also, some big changes coming to the Master Writ Vendor, including a new assistant.

    There are 8 new Item Sets available from the two dungeons, Scalecaller Peak and Fang Lair. Each dungeon has 1 Light Armor, 1 Medium Armor, 1 Heavy Armor, and 1 Monster Mask Item Set to acquire.
  • New Achievements
    Dragon Bones comes with more than 35 new achievements, including 4 new titles to unlock. Complete both dungeons on Veteran difficulty to unlock the Nacreous Purple dye!
  • Two new maps have been added for Battlegrounds
  • Outfits
    The new Outfit System is now available, and allows you the freedom to customize the visual appearance of your character including both the style and dyes. With Outfits, you get to determine the appearance of every aspect of your character, piece by piece, regardless of what you are (or aren’t) wearing underneath.

    • Every Dye Station previously found in the world has been upgraded into an Outfit Station.
    • Before you can modify the appearance of an equipment slot, you first need to unlock the style of the desired appearance.
    • The primary way to learn Outfit Styles is by reading Motif books and chapters. In addition to unlocking the ability to craft in that style, learning a Motif now also teaches you how to apply that style to your Outfits.
    • As this Outfit Style knowledge is an account-wide collectible
      • These style collectibles are retroactively unlocked for all the styles you already know how to craft after logging in with a character with the associated Motif knowledge
    • Each slot in an Outfit can be customized individually.
    • Each Outfit selection can also be re-colored, similar to equipment dyeing, using the same dyes you’ve unlocked via achievements.
    • Please note that costumes, polymorphs, hats, and disguises will always override any armor styles in your applied outfit.
    • Additionally, weapon slots in Outfits can be dyed as desired, utilizing the same dyes available for armor. Yes, really.
    • Allows you the flexibility to recreate any look you may have found appealing while leveling up through various tiers of equipment.
    • Everyone will receive one free customizable outfit per character, and can unlock additional outfits in the Crown Store. These outfits are character-specific.
    • “Convert to Imperial” and “Convert to Morag Tong” are no longer used from the inventory on specific items, and are instead incorporated into the Outfit System.
      • If you possess these collectibles, the Imperial and Morag Tong Outfit Styles are automatically available, and do not cost gold to apply to your Outfits.
    • Dye Stations found in homes are visually unchanged, but have been upgraded to the full Outfit Station functionality.
      • A new furnishing with the visual of the new Outfit station is now available on the new Master Writ achievement mediator, Faustina Curio, with all of the above associated functionality.
    • Home Storage Furnishings
      • These account-wide items allow you to store 30 or 60 items per collectible, depending on the size. You can acquire four 30-slot coffers and four 60-slot chests, for a combined total of up to 360 storage slots. All four coffers share the same visual appearance, but each has a unique name and can be nicknamed for easy organization. Chests work the same way, with their own shared appearance.
    • New Homes
      3  new homes are available to test during this PTS update.
    • Rolis Hlaalu, the Mastercraft Mediator who sells furnishings and recipes for Writ Vouchers, has changed some of his offerings. He retired several of his furniture plans and now offers 6 new furniture plans
    • The Champion Point cap has been raised by 30 points (10 in each red/blue/green constellation) for a total of 720 Champion Points

  • Crafting Motifs
    • The chance of obtaining a Xivkyn Motif chapter from a Daedric Cache in Imperial City is now dependent on your Tel Var Stone multiplier
  • Crafting Motifs
    • With the release of the Outfit System, we’ve adjusted the drop rates for a number of Crafting Motifs to help ensure certain impressive or prestigious Motifs retain a degree of rarity. In most cases, this reduction is marginal.  See below for list of affected motifs.
    • The Glass Motif can now be purchased from Rolis Hlaalu, the Mastercraft Mediator with Writ Vouchers.
      • Glass Motif Fragments no longer drop from Crafting Writ reward containers.
      • If you have Glass Motif Fragments in your inventory, the Merethic Restorative Resin can still be found in the wares of Mystic vendors the world over for the same price as before (10,000g).
    • Rewards for the Worthy mails now only grant a guaranteed Transmutation Geode once per day per account.

ESOTU [PC] Patch Notes 3.1.5 – Crafting Summary

The following is a summary of the crafting and housing related changes included in this #ESOTU patch for the PC and Mac.

OVERVIEW

This update comes in two parts–the DLC Game Pack and the base game patch. The base game patch will be available to everyone who owns The Elder Scrolls Online and the DLC Game Pack will automatically download with it, allowing you instant access to the new content when you purchase it or activate an ESO Plus membership.

Anyone who owns ESO and has an active ESO Plus membership will also automatically have access to the Horns of the Reach DLC Game Pack. If your ESO Plus membership ends or lapses, you will no longer have access to the DLC Game Pack content and areas, but you will still have any items you earned while you had access.

In this update, you’ll be able to explore and conquer two all-new 4 player dungeons – Bloodroot Forge and Falkreath Hold. These dungeons offer new item sets, Monster Masks, achievements and unique rewards!

We’ve also added a new Battlegrounds map – Arcane University – and a new game mode for Battlegrounds: Chaosball. Both of these are available to anyone who owns The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind. You’ll also find that we’ve added several new Medals to support Chaosball.

The base game patch features a number of new features including updates to the Master Writ Merchant, new housing furnishings, and numerous quality of life improvements. These include customizable combat cues, new guild features, research cancelling, bankable Writ Vouchers and Alliance Points, and more. And as always, we’ve made several fixes and improvements to existing content as well.

You’ll also note that we’ve added a new, separate Combat & Gameplay section to the patch notes so it’s clear which changes were done in an effort to improve balance, and which changes are bug fixes or minor improvements.

  • A new displayable trophy and bust from each dungeon, obtained by defeating Domihaus the Bloody Horned in Falkreath Hold and the Earthgore Amalgam in Bloodroot Forge in Normal and Veteran modes.
  • The Hlaalu, Redoran, and Telvanni Motifs are now available
  • Added a guild rank permission for “View Guild Bank Gold” which controls a guild rank’s ability to see the amount of gold stored in the Guild Bank.
  • Can now cancel an active research if you want to start researching something else instead
  • Items can now be locked or unlocked from the improvement screen.
  • Locked items can also be improved, but only if the chance is 100%.
  • Equipped items can now be improved.
  • Added a setting – Combat Cues – in the Gameplay menu that will allow you to control the color and brightness of Friendly and Hostile combat cues.
  • Furniture listed in Guild Stores can now be previewed.
  • Can now deposit Alliance Points and Writ Vouchers into your account bank where they may be withdrawn by any of your characters.
  • Rolis Hlaalu’s gold furnishing plans have been replaced with new stock, so there is now a new gold quality furnishing plan for each profession available.
    • The previously available recipes are being retired for the time being, though they may show up again at some point in the future in his selection or elsewhere.
    • New Home: Hakkvild’s High Hall
    • A number of new recipes and furnishings have been added to the game obtainable by participating in various activites throughout the world.
      • These include but are not limited to harvesting certain types of nodes, participating in Justice activities, and defeating enemies in the new Horns of the Reach dungeons, Coldharbour, and Ayleid Ruins.
    • The Champion Point cap has been raised by a total of 30 points
    • Unified the behavior of crafting Writ delivery sites in Vivec City. These sites are now consistently used for rank one Writs instead of a mix of rank one and maximum rank Writs.
    • The Tel Var Jewelry Lockbox Merchants now sell rings and necklaces directly with no intervening box.
    • Weapons and armor from the Briarheart, Mark of the Pariah, and Trinimac sets will now drop in the full set of normal traits
    • The Orsinium Delve daily quests can now be shared. However, you can still only have one Delve daily in your journal at a time.
    • Added a small chance to recover the blueprint for an hourglass furnishing from priests particularly obsessed with time. Check the Gold Coast, if interested.
    • The values and bonuses of Mundus Stones have been adjusted.
    • Adjusted the values and bonuses of Weapon Traits
    • Numerous item sets were changed
    • Learning a recipe or furnishing plan now unlocks the associated skill line.
    • Eating an alchemy reagent to learn its first trait now unlocks the Alchemy skill line.
    • Adjusted Alchemy Writs so they require Nirnroot less often.
    • Added Poisons to the roster of items requested by Alchemy Writs.
    • Reduced the quantity of Bervez Juice required in blue-quality furnishing Designs to 3 from 6.
    • Updated the Furrier’s Traps found at Clothier Survey sites to be more consistent.
    • Numerous books can now be collected for Eidetic Memory that were once unavailable after quests were completed.

OVERVIEW

The Elder Scrolls Online v3.1.3 incorporates some more balance changes to the game, in addition to a handful of bug fixes affecting dungeons, housing, quests, and UI. We’ve also fixed the issue where you weren’t able to preview and purchase homes, and therefore, have added three new homes to be tested. The size of this patch is approximately 240MB.

Highlights

  •  Fixed an issue where the “Primal” style was occasionally referred to as “Primitive”.
  • Sashes crafted in the Redoran style now have their intended icon.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Glenumbra’s Enchanting Survey Report from respawning if you had multiple surveys on-hand when returning to its area.
  • Updated the price of the “Horn of the Reachclans” furnishing to 50,000 gold from 20,000 gold
  • Adjusted the walls at the rear of the Autumn’s-Gate courtyard back to their original positions, to ensure there will be no change to homes with the release of Horns of the Reach.

[PTS] ESOTU [PC] Patch Notes 3.1.3 – Crafting Summary

OVERVIEW

The Elder Scrolls Online v3.1.3 incorporates some more balance changes to the game, in addition to a handful of bug fixes affecting dungeons, housing, quests, and UI. We’ve also fixed the issue where you weren’t able to preview and purchase homes, and therefore, have added three new homes to be tested. The size of this patch is approximately 240MB.

Highlights

  • Three new homes are now available to be previewed and purchased
  • Added a small chance to recover the blueprint for an hourglass furnishing from priests particularly obsessed with time.
  • Fixed an issue where Gradual Health Drain Poisons would report an unusual duration difference between the two-reagent version and the three-reagent version.
  • Fixed an issue where Pliant Ferrofungus, the Telvanni raw style item, incorrectly named the refined style item it refines into. Pliant Ferrofungus refines into Wrought Ferrofungus.
  • Fixed a rare issue which could cause you to receive the exact same Writ quest multiple times in a row.
  • The furnishing item “Mammoth Cheese, Mastercrafted” no longer emits steam from strange places. Or any place.
  • Adjusted the lighting effects on a number of furnishings to illuminate more consistently with the day/night cycle.
  • Added and updated icons on a number of new furnishings and crafting materials.
  • Two more Eidetic Memory items are now available after quests completed.
