As more motifs are being discovered in Tamriel, it becomes harder to remember where to find all this motif lore. This guide attempts to make it easier for the new or frugal crafter to locate motif chapters without being at the mercy of motif availability on guild traders.
Motif lore can be often found home and business containers (Nightstand, Desk, Wardrobe, Dresser, Cabinet, Cupboard, Trunk / Chests, Backpacks, and Urn / Vases). Furthermore, the location of these containers often determines the types of motifs that can be found. Unfortunately, many of these containers in towns will require some caution as they are considered property of the locals and if your theft is witnessed, you will negatively affect your status with the guards.

With the introduction of OneTamriel, ZOS added daily quests for the three factions – Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, and the Undaunted. Included were new rewards, and a new way to gain reputation in their ranks.
These quests offer new players a more structured means to explore Tamriel by sending them out to distant Dolmens, Delves, and/or Public Dungeons. Also, they offer alternate advancement in the guild skill lines to unlock guild abilities and passives.
To established players and crafters, they offer a means to farm the Rare Draughr Motifs and style materials.
You can find these quests in the capital cities in each faction’s guildhall or camp.
Faction Capital Cites: Elden Root (Grahtwood), Mournhold (Deshaan), Wayrest (Stormhaven)
There is a great post on Reddit to help people obtain the three new motifs: Celestial, Draughr, and Yokudan.
Panda has posted a good and short video on how to maximize your daily chances of farming a draughr motif and it’s style item, pristine shroud. Duration: < 5 minutes.
Note: You can get the quests in any city with a Mages’ Guild, Fighters’ Guild, or Undaunted Enclave.
The following is a summary of the crafting related changes included in this #ESOTU patch for the PC and Mac. A few crafting changes. The most significant change is that the Chef and Brewer vendors will sell CP150 green-quality recipes used in Provisioning crafting writs so it is based on the passive rank in Recipe Improvement.
