General Information and Lore
Legend has it that the excavation of Wansalen was halted, and the halls abandoned, when the Elven miners roused and angered an ancient rock-spirit called a Gheatus. But the wise Sapiarchs of the Crystal Tower dismiss this story as a fable with no truth to it.
Located in a hidden valley, Wansalen is accessed by a mine in the Auridon hills north of the Quendeluun Wayshrine. Generally, this delve is not a favourable location to farm crafting materials. The circular nature of the ruin and fast spawning undead, might be suitable for a grinding experience on a low character while gathering crafting materials, notably guts, worms, and fleshfly larvae.
