ESOTU Delve: Rubble Butte

This underground site is part of Nilata, one of the most extensive Ayleid ruin complexes in Hammerfell. It was occupied by the Wild Elves for at least a thousand years, and its welkynd stones will probably continue to glow for at least another thousand..

Rubble Butte delve is  located in central Bangkorai.  Nearest wayshrine is Nilata Ruins  which is a short distance to the east.  It is one of the larger delves and consists of two “loops”.  Overall, a poor place to find crafting materials.

ESOTU Delve: Chi-Moska Ruins

Argonian scholars are uncertain whether the Chid-Moska xanmeer should be considered part of the larger Xal Ithix complex, or if it is a separate site built by an even more ancient tribe of Lizard-Folk.

Chid-Moska Ruins are located in southwestern Shadowfen.  Nearest wayshrine is Loriasel Wayshrine.  It is a small looping delve and contains mostly provisioning containers.  Overall, a below-average place to farm crafting materials as you would have to relog to reset the containers.

ESOTU Delve: Gandranen Ruins

Tales say that Gandranen was built by an Ayleid sorcerer, a worshiper of Hermaeus Mora who so loved books that she created a series of magical halls that would attact books from across Tamriel, no matter where–or when–they were published.

Gandranen Ruins are located in central Shadowfen.  Nearest wayshrine is Hissmir which is a short distance to the south.  It is a medium size delve and contains mostly bookshelves.  Overall, a poor place to find crafting materials.

ESOTU Delve: Shrine of the Black Maw

Since the inking of the Ebonheart Pact, the trade in enslaved Argonians has been outlawed.. but it has not been eradicated. The slavers have merely gone underground — literally, in the case of those using the Ayleid halls of Varakun as their lair.

The Shrine of the Black Maw is located in the northwestern area of Shadowfen.  Easiest way to get to this delve is take the road leading to the northwest from Stormhold.  It is a medium size delve and contains mostly provisioning containers.  Gargoyles may drop trophy item (Stony Heart) for Monster Achievement.

ESOTU Delve: The Triple Circle Mine

Everyone knows the Triple Circle Mine produces the highest quality ore in Deshaan. Strange to find such an active mine looking so deserted.

The Triple Circle Mine is located in the central region of Deshaan. Nearest wayshrine is Ghost Snake Vale wayshrine (east of Mournhold). It’s very small, but it’s circling mineshaft may be suitable for farming hides, oils, and red meat.

ESOTU Delve: Taleon’s Crag

Some have speculated that this site comes by its name because this is where the famous Nord author Taelon Mythmaker chose to retire after his bitter literary feud with Helgreir Lut-Voice. Phrastus of Elinhir, however, regards this theory as “fanciful twaddle.”  

Taleon’s Crag is located in the southern region of Deshaan. Nearest wayshrine is Ghost Snake Vale wayshrine (east of Mournhold).

ESOTU Delve: Wormroot Depths

Regarded by scholars of the arcane as the apex achievement of the Wild Elves’ magical art, the so-called Ayleid Wells are believed to use Aetherial crystal to aggregate magicka from starlight—even in subterranean locations.

Wormroot Depths is located northwest region of Grahtwood, a short distance from Redfur Trading Post.

ESOTU Delve: Aldunz

Though some Dwarven automatons were clearly designed for defense of the facilities in which they’re found, the function of other constructs is less clear. Some appear to be tasked with maintaining other machines, lubricating joints and replacing worn-out parts.

ESOTU Delve: Icehammer’s Vault

The Icehammers were a famous clan of warriors who fought long and well during the reign of Hoag Merkiller — so well that King Hoag made the head of the clan one of his thanes. But the clan fell on evil times thereafter, and the Icehammer name died out in the last quarter of the First Era.

Icehammer’s Vault are found in central Eastmarch  East of Kynesgrove Wayshrine.
