With all of the exciting of recent in-game events behind us, last month, I took the opportunity to track the results of 360 consumable writs of various levels in preparation of updating my various writ articles.
Interestingly, I noticed that provisioning writs were not the only ones to have repeating writs in a set recurring order. For example, enchanting and provisioning writs repeat every three days, while alchemy repeats every four days. These patterns have been incorporated into the Alchemist and Enchanting articles. Also, since I was editing the articles, I improved the in-page navigation in these articles to make it easier to find the information you are looking for and to make the pages more accessible on mobile devices and tablets.
It has been a few days since the new experience potion recipe was announced. It would appear “extremely rare” drop rates means extremely rare. Personally, I haven’t heard of any one finding one. There others on the forums curious if any was has in fact found any and where.
Have you found components or heard of any Aetherial Ambrosia discoveries?
The following is a summary of the crafting related changes included in this #ESOTU patch for the PC and Mac. Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia and Apothecary Parcels!
The Elder Scrolls Online v2.6.9 introduces two new items to the game: Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia and Apothecary’s Parcels. In addition, we have several localization-related fixes and have made improvements to overall memory, plus various smaller bug fixes. The size of this patch is approximately 318MB.
One of our fellow crafters has posted an interesting artical on official forums under the title “One Tamriel Max Provisioning Writs Decoded”
What is happening is that every day the RNG randomly assigns either the CP 50 writ or the CP 150 writ, and once that is decided, you receive whichever writ for that level is due up in the rotation for that day. Also, it seems that the the rotations are linked to each other on a daily basis. I have not been able to discern a pattern outside of this and it does appear whether you get a CP 50 or CP 150 writ is completely random.
There have been several reports over the past few days regarding changes in writ rewards, especially provisioning. This is leading to speculation that recipes might be like pledges with a recipe rotation, there are glitches with the removal of Orsinium as the highest tier turn-in location and more.
I have noticed a few of the issues reported and may have observed different characters getting different xp and gold at the same proficiency tier. I’ll record my findings when I’m eligible for more writs.
