When you explore the wilds of Tamriel long enough, the “taste boredom” of the repetitive small game on a spit will set in. The adventurer’s palate will long for a diet with more variety and flavour.
There are two types of provisioning products: Food and Drink. Food increases the players resource pools (Total Health, Magicka, and/or Stamina) and drinks increase the player’s regeneration of resource pools (Health, Magicka, and/or Stamina Regeneration). There are seven possible combinations: Health, Magicka, Stamina, Health and Magicka, Health and Stamina, Magicka and Stamina, and all three.
Single resource products are green. Two resource items are blue. Three resource items are purple. There is a special yellow product (Experience potion) which is created by very rare item obtained by fishing.
In Tamriel, only few crafters have the dedication and hard work to persevere to become a master enchanter. My travels far and wide let to the discovery of many runes. Over time, I learned their meanings and combinations to become a master enchanter.
This tome lists out the various achievements await the studious enchanter adept willing to put some effort into their trade.
Knowing the names of glyphs will help enchanters craft special enchanting order for their friends and customers but also help identify the runes necessary to complete their enchanting writs. An adventure familiar with this list will browse the traders confidently to quickly to find that perfect glyph to imbue their weapon or armor.
A gourmand will eat anything in front of them, while an educated gourmet prefers sophisticated recipes made from the freshest ingredients.
Provisioning food and drink are one of the main ways to improve your resource pools over a longer period of time. If the local guild trader doesn’t have the basic ingredients you are looking for, there are several grocers scattered around Tamriel ready to serve you.
Often crafters follow in their parents footsteps and take over the family business. As a result some rarely live their hometown and the familiarity of the crafting stations. With the new crafting writs, crafters can take orders from the local notice board and deliver it a distant town. Some end up taking up residence in the new town.
Often the journal system doesn’t properly identify the turn in location if it is not at the crafters location. This brief tome describes the popular writ destinations of Tamriel. At the moment, it seems that consumables offer the best rewards consistently at all levels. Equipment writs seem to consume nearly a stack of resources and at lower levels, the rewards can mock the crafter with low value items like a quartz stone. During my journeys throughout Tamriel, I have often heard young apprentice provisioners grumble to their masters about needing more information relating to their daily writs. This brief compendium identifies the list of provisioning writs and the approximately level they are offered.
One of the many things an inhabitant of Tamriel can do is to become a certified Provisioner located in their starting area.
Certification in their crafting profession is not required to reach maximum level. However, writs offer a chance to earn new recipes (including purple recipes) and rare provisioning materials. After level 10, crafters can be certified without have to do the introductory quest.
The recipes given to a player doing the daily writs depend on a number of factors. These include Crafting Level, Skill Points assigned in the Provisioning Skill Line, and if certain regions of the game have been unlocked.
Most crafting masters and scholars agree, the consumable writs offered the best rewards. Fortunately, Masters only require the finished crafted products and do not care where they come from. An efficient adventure who wants to benefit from writ rewards can buy the crafted items or only need to learn the necessary recipes once.
Knowing which recipes are used for writs provides the crafter and adventurer alike a greater sense of their value and rarity.
